The curl pattern is permanent in the sense that it won't wash out - but like all curly hair, the texture can loosen gradually over time with heat styling and regular wear. Depending on the specific product, the curl may be original to the donor hair, set through a steam process we've refined over nearly 20 years. With proper care - sulfate-free products, minimal heat, and regular deep conditioning - most customers get a year or more of great-looking curls. The biggest rule: don't brush curly extensions when they're dry. Detangle gently with a wide-tooth comb or your fingers while they're wet and conditioned. Use sulfate-free products, deep condition regularly, and let them air dry whenever possible. It depends on your lifestyle. Curly clip-ins are perfect if you want flexibility to take them in and out. Wefts and tape-ins work well for semi-permanent wear. Since they're 100% human hair, yes - you can straighten them with a flat iron. For the occasional straight look they handle it well, but we don't recommend doing this regularly since repeated heat styling can gradually loosen the curl pattern over time.
