Gently use a Perfect Locks' detangling brush for curly hair before and after each use to prevent any damage from knots or tangles.
If you must use heat tools, opt for low heat and always protect with Perfect Locks' heat protectant spray specially formulated for curly hair.
Hydrate and moisturize with sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner made specifically for curls, then let it air dry - no blow-drying needed!
Prevent tangling or matting by properly storing flat or in the included Perfect Locks' satin storage pouch or hanging up when not in use.
Avoid using hair products like hairspray or styling gel as this can cause build-up and damage - wash and condition every 2 to 3 weeks or as needed with Perfect Locks' hair care products made especially for curly hair.
Never sleep with clip-in extensions in, and be cautious when swimming or playing active sports where water is involved, to avoid any damage!
Finally, regularly check the clips on your ponytail so that they are secure and properly attached.

Minimal shedding of a few strands during brushing and washing is normal for all human hair extensions - just like your natural hair sheds daily. Excessive shedding (clumps or wefts coming apart) is not normal and should be reported to us immediately.

I recently purchased your Kinky Curly Ponytail in Chocolate Brown #3 and I absolutely love my ponytail! I'm so happy that you included this texture in your ponytails! It's lightweight and easy to install! To make my ponytail secure, I put the comb in between the elastic hair tie and use a few bobby pins to secure the velcro strap. I also got a lot of compliments on it! Thank you Perfect Locks!

Useless strap

I like the quality of the hair but you have to secure this the way you would any other ponytail. The comb built in and the Velcro are useless. Both do nothing to keep the ponytail on and I have to use a lot of hair pins to keep it in place.
