Look at your hair when it's freshly washed with no product - that's your true texture. Type 1 is straight, type 2 is wavy, type 3 is curly, and type 4 is coily. Within each type, A is the loosest pattern and C is the tightest. You don't need to be exact - just get close. If you send us a photo of your natural hair, we'll help you identify your texture and point you to the right match.

That happens more often than you'd think. If you're between two textures, we generally recommend going with the one closer to your tightest natural pattern since extensions tend to loosen slightly with wear and washing. You can also mix textures - a lot of customers blend two adjacent textures for the most natural result. Reach out and we'll help you decide.

Yes - all of our extensions are 100% Remy human hair, so they respond to heat styling. You can straighten curly extensions for a sleek look and the texture returns after washing. We just recommend not doing it daily since repeated heat can gradually relax the pattern over time. Use a heat protectant every time.

Absolutely. Our textures are permanently set through a specialized steam process, so they hold their pattern through washing, styling, and everyday wear. To keep the texture looking its best, air dry when possible and use a light curl-refreshing product after washing. The pattern is set for the life of the extensions.

The golden rule: keep them moisturized. Use sulfate-free shampoo, deep condition regularly, and detangle gently with a wide-tooth comb while the hair is wet and conditioned. Sleep with a satin bonnet or pillowcase. Avoid heavy products that weigh down the texture. The more moisture and less manipulation, the better.
