Look at your hair when it's freshly washed with no product - that's your true texture. Type 1 is straight, type 2 is wavy, type 3 is curly, and type 4 is coily. Within each type, A is the loosest pattern and C is the tightest. You don't need to be exact - just get close. If you send us a photo of your natural hair, we'll help you identify your texture and point you to the right match.

If you're between two textures, we generally recommend going with the one closer to your tightest natural pattern since extensions tend to loosen slightly with wear and washing. We just recommend not doing it daily since repeated heat can gradually relax the pattern over time. Use a heat protectant every time.

To keep the texture looking its best, air dry when possible and use a light curl-refreshing product after washing. The pattern is set for the life of the extensions.
