Didn't take color

So I got the hair and I wanted it colored. I attempted to color it myself and nothing took. Called customer service and they said there was nothing they can do since I colored them.

Perfect locks is quite at first glance. Received my hair and was very surprised at how little was in the package for the price. The quality was great and the color was perfect. But it literally didn't cover anything. I will play with it more and hope that my assessment changes.
