Absolutely! The shipping process sometimes flattens the hair and a nice wash or co-wash can really bring it back to life.

How much hair do I need?

Weaves & Bulk Hair

For a full install we recommend 2 packs if your trying to achieve 18 inches and under. For 20 inches and over we may recommend a 3rd pack for a full installation. It's always better to purchase a little extra rather than not enough. You can always return any unopened packs or use any leftover for a future purchase. You can never have enough hair!

Fusion Hair

We recommend 150 to 200 strands for a full installation. That's 6 to 8 packs depending how full of a look you are trying to achieve. 

Tape Hair

We recommend 6 to 8 packs for a full installation. 

Clip Ons

One set will add length and volume, but 2 sets will make you an all out diva! Go for 2 if glam is what you are after. This includes Volumizers, but please know that installing 2 Volumizers can be tricky. Contact us for more info.

How do I match my hair color?

Take a peek at our color chart and matching system where you can view color swatches of our most popular colors. Our hair colors have proven to work for the most popular and desirable natural shades.

However, due to the nature of natural hair, colors can have slight variations. If you are particular about your shade we encourage you to upload a photo right from your computer and phone from the form located right on this page so we can do our best to hand select your best match. Easy peasy.

What products should I use on my hair?

We only recommend high quality hair care products. Always choose sulfate-free products. Avoid using cheap products found at your local drug or grocery store. These products contain chemicals that can dry out the hair. In addition, your local stores often stock old product which can cause certain chemical agents within the product to be deactivated.

How often should I wash my hair?

We recommend shampooing and conditioning the hair at least once a week using professional grade products. If you have Clip-On extensions this will be about every fourth wear. Since the hair is no longer attached to a live root, properly cleansing and conditioning your extensions is crucial.

  • Over shampooing (more than 3-4 times a week) will lead to drying out the hair.
  • Under shampooing (less than once a week) can lead to build up, which will cause tangling and matting.

Do you have a color chart?

Can this hair be colored?

Virgin hair can be colored. Since all hair is natural and can vary, some hair may be harder to lift than others. Always remember you can only go 2 to 3 levels lighter with virgin #1B hair. To go lighter will require bleaching, which should be left to licensed professionals. 

Colored hair should not be colored. Since the hair has already gone through one chemical process to achieve the color, treating it again could lead to undesirable results.

Our advice is to always have your hair colored by a licensed professional or hair colorist. If you do decide to color your hair on your own, we always recommend you perform a strand test on a small section of the hair. If you need advice, give us a call or contact a professional for more help. Please keep in mind, once hair has been colored your return or exchange is void, and we are limited in how we can help if a problem arises.

What ingredients are in your hair care products?

All of the products from our "Inspire" hair care line are sulfate-free. They do not contain ammonia, parabens, or harmful chemicals that can dry out your hair and make it manageable. Our products have been thoroughly tested on our hair to ensure the best results. In fact, we wash and condition all of our hair with these products before they ship out to you! We use nothing but the best ingredients to make up the formula.

Are there any harmful ingredients used in your hair products?

No. Our hair products are completely natural and pure. Just like the hair on your head. All of our hair is triple quality checked and shampooed and conditioned at our unit in India and again in California.

Co-washing is short for conditioner-only washing. Some people prefer co-washing because using shampoo can sometimes strip the hair of it's natural oils, leading to dry and brittle hair.
