As the year comes to an end, it feels natural to pause and reflect on the good moments, the challenging ones, and everything in between. Each year brings lessons, growth, and perspective, and I truly believe that growing older also means growing wiser. I look forward to stepping into the new year with openness, curiosity, and gratitude for all that lies ahead.
Thankful for Our Community
I am deeply thankful for the many blessings that keep me grounded and moving forward - my family, whose love and support carry me through both difficult and joyful times; the work I get to do every day, helping others look good and feel confident; and the incredible team behind Perfect Locks. From our in-salon staff to our factory partners who work tirelessly behind the scenes, each person plays an essential role in creating products we are proud of and that our customers trust.
A Year of Personal Growth
Finding peace, joy, and purpose is a lifelong journey. When we are lucky enough to discover what truly makes us happy, it becomes something worth protecting and cherishing. For me, the past year has brought meaningful shifts, especially around health, self-care, and understanding the changes that come with age. As women, we often carry many responsibilities while staying strong for our families, and issues like hair loss and hormonal changes can feel overwhelming.
These experiences have strengthened my commitment to learning, growing, and giving back. I am investing deeply in education and product innovation so we can better support women facing hair loss and related concerns. I'm excited to share that 2026 will bring new launches and solutions at Perfect Locks, focused on helping women take control with confidence, knowledge, and care.
The Joy of Movement
Another unexpected gift this year has been rediscovering the joy of movement. Staying active has become essential to both physical and mental well-being, and pickleball has truly been a blessing. Who would have thought a yellow ball with holes could bring so much joy, competition, and community? It has reminded me of the importance of play, resilience, and balance - lessons that extend far beyond the court and into everyday life. I encourage everyone to find something that energizes them, offers a healthy outlet, and helps counter life's many challenges.
