How are lace clip-ins different from seamless?

Perfect locks lace clip-in extensions are our classic, more traditional clip-ins with a lightweight, breathable material, they’ll stay secure while providing you with comfort throughout wear. The lace we use is thicker and more durable than the thin flexible band offerened in our samless clip-ins. .

How do I blend clip-ins with my own hair?

Blending clip-in extensions with your own hair is a great way to achieve a fuller and more voluminous look without the commitment of permanent extensions. But before you can blend them seamlessly with your own locks, there are a few key steps to take. Brush your hair thoroughly to remove any tangles or knots. Part your hair where you want to place the clip-ins. Take a small section of your own hair, about the same width as the extension, and clip the extension to it. Repeat this process until you have added all of the extensions that you want to use. Use a comb or brush to blend your own hair with the extensions. Style your hair as desired.

How often should I wash my clip-ins?

When it comes to washing your clip-in hair extensions, it's all about striking the perfect balance between keeping them clean and maintaining their longevity. While it may be tempting to wash them after every use, it's important to remember that over-washing can cause damage and shorten the lifespan of your extensions. A general rule of thumb is to wash your clip-ins every 6-8 weeks, or as needed. This means that if you're using them frequently, you may need to wash them more often. But if you're using them less, you can stretch the time between washes.

Can I sleep with my lace clip-in hair extensions?

We typically don't recommend sleeping with any type of clip-ins, as they can be easily removed. However, if you must, just make sure to tie your extension and natural hair into a loose braid before bedtime – this will help prevent tangling while you sleep. Additionally, keep any clips facing up so they won’t get caught on your pillowcase while you’re tossing and turning during the night.

What hair type is best for clip-ins?

Perfect locks lace clip-in extensions are suitable for most types of hair but are best for medium or coarse textures. For fine hair, we would recommend our seamless clip-ins as they are more lightweight and will put less stress on your hair and scalp. We have a solution for everyone! These are georgous! Beautiful tight 3C curls, shiny and soft. The picture is after co-wash & condition, with a little light hold curl cream scrunched in, diffused to dry. I think I'm gonna need a 2nd pack for my thick hair, but beautiful hair.

Almos Perfect

I think they need to come with 9 pieces instead of 7 and with more hair. I ended having to buy to sets which ended being expensive; however, I do love the quality of your hair and will continue buying your products, but please add more pieces as you had in the past. Not sure why you went from 9 pieces to 7.

A little overpriced, but average/good quality.

The clip ins were nice the first few days, however to prevent it from looking dry i have to constantly moisturize with leavin conditioner and olive oli. I’m sure some coconut oil would work great as well. Once conditioned though they were nice bold curls that blended in pretty well.

Great Customer Service!

Perfect Locks has AMAZING customer service! After doing a bunch of research I ordered their 22"; custom tight curly clip-in extensions. Unfortunately, when they arrived the curl pattern was off. I was so worried I would run into one of those horrible customer service experiences and I was bracing myself for it. The employee I reached, Journie (???), was soooo nice, understanding, and attentive. She listened to my concerns, validated them with her supervisor, and worked to find a solution for me. I decided to have a corrected 22"; set made. They gave me a mailing label to send the old set back, then personally looked after the production and timeline for getting me a new set. All along the way for the new set, they updated me when my new set had reached the next step in the process, so I didn't have to worry! :) I received the set the other day, and this set is exactly what I had ordered to match my 3B hair. They also included a small travel size of their shampoo, conditioner, and curl nourishing spray, which honestly smells great. Mistakes are going to happen in business, no matter how hard you try, but not all customer service is the same, and Perfect Locks handled this exceptionally. Thank you!
