What is the difference between a closure and a frontal?

A closure is a 4 x 4 inch lace piece that finishes the top of a sew-in and gives you a natural part. A frontal is a 13 x 4 inch piece that spans ear to ear across your entire hairline, letting you style hair away from your face. Choose a closure for everyday installs, a frontal for maximum styling freedom.

Can I part it anywhere?

Yes. The strands are hand-knotted with bleached knots in front and realistic baby hair around the hairline, so the part looks like it grows from your own scalp: middle, side, or anywhere in between.

How long will my frontal last?

About 12 months of wear with proper care. It can be reused across 3 to 4 installs. Gentle washing and keeping heavy products away from the knots are what get you to the long end of that range.

Do I need a professional to install it?

We recommend it. Frontals install by sew-in, tape, or glue, with or without weaves, and a flat, secure foundation makes the difference in how natural the finished look sits. If you're in the Bay Area, our showroom team can point you to trained stylists.

I like this product, but I'm not in love with it. The fill is a bit scanty and and would be better if it's a little fuller. Not sure of it's density (i.e., whether it's 120% or180%); staff was not able to provide that information.
