Get big curls with hot rollers, a large barreled curling iron, or by putting up your hair with bantu knots before letting it down. Learn how to get stylish big curls with bantu knots in our post How to Rock Bantu Knots, a Natural and Gorgeous Hairstyle You Can't Miss.
Julianne Hough looks gorgeous with her big curls. Her blonde hair stands out against her red dress and her curls are a bit smaller, which leads us to believe that she used a medium sized curling iron. When you curl your hair for your holiday activities, don't forget to use a protective spray to protect your hair from heat damage. Part of knowing how to style your hair correctly is protecting your hair while you create a glamorous look!
A sleek ponytail is very classy looking and also can be worn with numerous looks. If you feel like keeping your hair out of your eyes and want to have a conversation with friends or co-workers without worrying about your wispy hair getting in the way, then a sleek ponytail is for you.
In order to get a sleek ponytail, straighten your hair prior to pulling it back or curl it, depending on your mood. Their are many smoothing serums that are available that will calm your fly aways and make your hair look polished and your ensemble fabulous.
If you are feeling extra playful pair your dress with some beautiful earrings. You can also think about wearing purple lipstick like the model wears in the picture to your right or some additional accessories that will glitz up your look.
If you want to go with a classic updo, create a stylish bun in your hair. Another easy to do updo is to start by forming a ponytail in your hair, do a half way topsy tail, and tuck your hair inside of it instead of pulling it all of the way through for a glossy updo.
If you have naturally curly hair, simply style your bangs while you blow dry your hair. After your hair is mostly dry, pull it up in a ponytail but then make it lose, pulling out small stands of hair. After you've pulled out small sections of your hair to frame your face, you can either curl them or let them go. Allow the natural curl to look natural and you'll achieve a lovely look that everyone at your gatherings will love.
We hope you enjoy your week leading up to the holidays! Have fun styling your hair and whether you decide to go with a lose bun, sleek ponytail, or big curls, you'll look beautiful.
