Job Description
To the self-motivated, team-oriented, creative hairstylist looking for a new home to share your talents! Perfect Locks is looking for extremely talented, creative, inspired, and passionate hairstylists who specialize in hair extensions in our beautiful Walnut Creek location, 1 to 3 days per week to start!
Applying stylists must have a valid cosmetology license, and must assist with retail sales from time to time, this is the best way to capture great clients! This is a unique opportunity, the hair salon is located within the upscale Perfect Locks hair extensions store in Walnut Creek.
The team at Perfect Locks is young, energetic, and full of ideas. Do you have experience installing human hair extensions? If not, we offer in house training! Are you interested in education? There's potential to teach classes and earn additional revenue through various channels. This is not your ordinary salon, we provide amazing and meaningful transformations for customers with our products... We also have many events and programs that give back to the community!
Must have some or all of the following:
- Tape-In Hair Extensions
- Installing and styling clip-ins
- Weaves, Closures, & Frontals
- Wig fitting / Wig making services
- Fusion hair / Beaded Weft
Professional Requirements:
- You must be a licensed and experienced cosmetologist
- Must have experience cutting, blending, and styling hair
- Must have a passion for hair and hair extensions
- Must have existing clientele and established business
- Must be able to create and style gorgeous hair with hair extensions
- Salon management/administrative experience is a plus!
- Must be willing to work with only the Perfect Locks brand of hair
- Must be independent, self-managed, professional, and driven
- Be proactive in drumming up new business and promoting the bar
- Must be social media savvy and provide samples of work

This position will have a base hourly pay plus commissions. Pay is dependent on experience. This is an excellent opportunity with room to grow. There is potential for participating in our growing education program, creative video projects, and photo shoots for the right candidate.
