We recently teamed up with our Premier Partner Jovance Salon for their Evening of Giving Event Fundraiser Event on Sunday, October 5th. The ultimate goal was to help women battling breast cancer feel beautiful about themselves. In 2013, an estimated 296,980 new cases of breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed among US women. Out of those numbers, approximately 39,620 were expected to die from breast cancer.
Jovance and team members from Perfect Locks provided the women at the event custom makeup tips, hair consults, and image consults to those affected by breast cancer. We also encouraged attendees to bring a friend, a survivor, or someone battling the disease to this special event. We at Perfect Locks were happy to provide 4 human hair wigs valued at $2000, and 2 gift cards in a raffle, totaling $400. We also gave 10% of all purchases that day to the non-profit organization Frontline breast cancer Network.
