Sorting Through Makeup and Discovering a Look that Fits Your Hair Style

Like most women, you most likely own a lot of makeup because you love to use a lot of products and implement makeup into your glamorous style. However, there may be times when you can't seem to find the right beauty item in your bathroom at the right time. Perhaps your bathroom is disorderly or you just have too many things in one area. Ideally you'd like to be able to find the right makeup items for the right occasion but you're not sure how to make this happen. Here are some tips to give you inspiration on how to become organized and prepare for your perfect evening ahead of time. Your makeup will be easy to find, match up to the season, and your hair will look stunning too with your wonderful selections!
Organize by Color
If you've recently colored your hair or purchased new hair extensions, you'll most likely want to organize your makeup by color themes so that you'll know what to pull out per season. For example, during the fall it would be best to keep out your darker lipsticks and bronzer. During the summer you'll want to seek out your pink lipsticks and lighter colored blushes. Depending on your hair color it may be time to get rid of colors that won't go with your new look. If so - it's okay to start fresh with new makeup. Don't be afraid to take the leap.
In order to organize by season or colors, run to the store and buy a few of your favorite cosmetic bags or containers with dividers. Divide your makeup up per season and colors and start organizing! Soon it will be easy to find what you were looking for. You may also want to divide your makeup into individual containers with only lipsticks in one, eyeshadow in another, etc.
If your makeup is limited you may want to opt for this tip instead: make yourself choose which are your favorites what you currently use the most. Once you've made the difficult decisions, divide the new and the old makeup into two separate makeup bags. Now it's time to part with your old back up makeup bag and beauty items - store them away for a rainy day. You'll be thankful for the extra items when you've run out of the other beauty items and you won't have to run to the store to get more.
Do all of these tasks sound too tedious? Sorting through all of your makeup is also beneficial. It's time to throw out what is really old and keep what is useful and goes with your current look and new locks. Your makeup should be no older than a few months and if it is, throw it out. From now on, start marking your mascara and other cosmetics the date you buy them so that you know how old each item will last. Once you have a better idea of what is newer and what needs to be pitched, you can move ahead with the organizational tips that were mentioned above.
Everyone has a different method of organization and works best for them, but in order to save time when doing your makeup, better situating your bathroom will save you a lot of time and energy. When it comes time to go to dinner or head to work, you'll know exactly where that shade of lipstick is that goes with your outfit. You'll head out the door with a smile on your lips and will feeling thankful that you took time away for necessary makeup cleaning.
