Golden Globe Red Carpet Fashion Hair Fail

Did you tune into the Golden Globes this year? The evening was full of glitz and glamour, and pulled back hairstyles. Whether you loved Kerry Washington's white gown or actor Lupita Nyong'o orange dress, the variety of dresses on the red carpet were fabulous. However, what happened with the hair styles? Many of the actresses opted for simple hair styles, which did not seem to go with their gowns. Pulled back or barely curled, some of the actresses looked like they just crawled out of bed. How do you think they could have improved their tresses? Well, with hair extensions of course and glamorous updos or curls! Keep reading to find out how else these ladies could have improved their red carpet style:

Lupita stole the red carpet show at the 2014 Golden Globes ceremony in Los Angeles with a floor-length red gown. We love her gown because it's red hot, but couldn't she have worn her hair down or had some wisps of hair in her face? Perhaps the idea was to have her dress as a focal point, but we think her hair could have been just as amazing.

Amy Adams

In the same way Amy Adams looked smashing in her Valentino gown, but her hair was a little too much pulled back. The braided updo was beautiful, but perhaps if it would have down with a braid this style would be have been more complimentary to her dress. On a side note, similar to her role in American Hustle, Amy looked beautiful and bold, but she needed a more carefree hairstyle.

So what do you think of the hairstyles at the Golden Globes and would you have worn a updo or your hair down? Do you like the red-hot gowns or would you have kept things simple with a white dress like Kerry Washington? The Golden Globes are a time to go all out and stay elegant at the same time. We can't wait for the Academy Awards in March. Stay tuned for our critique of the awards in March!
