Rock Your Hair with Blunt and Whispy Bangs

If you've thought about updating you hair style, bangs may or may have not have crossed your mind. Believe it or not, bangs, whether they are blunt, asymmetric, or wispy can look great on just about anyone, as long as they're styled and cut correctly.

If you have a long face, blunt bangs might be the type of bangs for you. A fringe style works well with long and straight hair extensions or long hair styles in general. Straighten your locks or curl them for a long and sultry look. You'll feel confident with your new hair do and wonder why you didn't get bangs sooner.

If you have more of a square profile, wispy bangs are great for softening your features. Don't get a fringe that doesn't have enough bangs, however, because if they are cut too sparse and thin then they look more like hair wisps as opposed to wispy bags.

An oval shaped face goes with virtually any type of bangs. Have bangs to the side and divide them near your part for an attractive style. You want to avoid a harsh look so keep your bangs soft by wearing them off to the side of your face or parted down the middle.

An angled face also looks great with side swept bags and perhaps some fun bright lipstick?! Curl your side bangs underneath with a hair straightener or curling iron for a polished look and to give them some extra body as well.

If you want to avoid cowlicks in the front of your hair, when it comes to your hairstyle,  keep your natural texture in mind. If you go against your hair texture you'll run into split ends, cowlicks, and other minor hair annoyances you won't want to deal with.

For a funky new style try out blunt bags that go with both curly or straight hair styles. If you have an angular profile however, a wispy and softer look may be more suitable. Long faced profiles are better suited for blunt bags that are edgy and sharp looking. However - don't be afraid to try out a style that you think you would look attractive on your own hair because no matter what the bang suggestions and rules may be, it may be the look for you after all.

Keep in mind that you don't have to go with blunt bags but instead you can opt for a more natural bang look such as straight across bangs that are laid back and cool. All that you need now, now that you have a new hair style, is a new outfit and heels. Now you can be on your way to some holiday fun and cheer!
