    Keeping Your Hair Sleek and Chic While at the Gym

    Like most women, getting sweaty while taking the time to exercise is no easy undertaking. It's important to your health to get exercise and get your heart rate up by completing cardiovascular activity, but you are probably thinking - do I really have to go because that means my hair is going to get messed up and I might have to wash it again! However, the sacrifice of your body to keep a flat tummy may seem like a good idea at the time, but sooner or later you'll realize that your health should be priority. Thankfully here are three tips for you to keep your hair looking fierce and beautiful while at you're at the gym or while running outside and enjoying nature.

    1. Ponytails can Look Classy

    Believe it or not a ponytail can look glamorous, even when you are sweating. If you have straight extensions or have straightened your hair style from the previous day, putting your hair up in a sleek and straight ponytail will look lovely and at the same time will keep your hair out of your face while working out. Glam it up a bit by adding some sparkly bobby pins or using bobby pins to pin back just the front part of your hair, adding a raised bump look to your ponytail. You can never go wrong with a ponytail and even when you aren't working out this is a great style to choose from. Additionally, you can also pull out some strands of hair to create a wispy look that is trendy.

    2. "Weave" Your Way through Exercising

    We give you permission to cheat a little and give your hair a break by investing in a weave that will transform your natural locks.     3. Do you French Braid?

    If you know how to french braid or even if you don't, find a friend to teach you! Straight styles can be pulled back into a modern braid when you go to the gym. If you are afraid that your bangs or shorter wisps of hair will escape, pin back a section of hair in the middle, right above your temples. Using the remainder of your hair, start french braiding. If you want to keep your locks in check while you are working out, try using a little bit of hair spray to keep your hair from coming loose.

    Exercising doesn't always have to be a chore. As well as keeping your hair chic while you are working your muscles, purchasing some new workout outfits should give you a boost of confidence. You can even be so bold to find bright and fun patterns such as zebra or leopard print. Don't be afraid to make your work out regimen more exciting by applying a new look for your hair, purchasing fun clothing, all the while just being yourself.
