Grammys Fashion Trends – Cutout Dresses & Long Locks

RiRi 224x300 Grammys Fashion Trends Cutout Dresses & Long LocksHello Lockettes, were you able to watch the Grammys this past Sunday? What were your thoughts? Our eyes were locked to the screen as we watched Ri Ri walk the red carpet in her red hot Azzedine Alaia dress. Not only did she sizzle, but her long tresses and hair extensions also stole the show. There were many other fashionistas that looked dazzling as well and before we dive into what we loved, we couldn’t help but notice that two trends occupied the red carpet that night: cutout dresses and long flowing locks!

Taylor Swift embraced the night and looked gorgeous while wearing her sexy white J. Mendel gown. The beautiful dress was accented with silver cutouts that showed off her back. She definitely embraced a more grown up look as opposed to her normal vintage vibe and also was one of the main participants of showing off the cutout dress trend.

If you’re wondering who else showed off a cutout trend, it was none other than Alicia Keys! Alicia took our breath away as she walked in confidence down the red carpet in a stunning black Alaia dress. This dress had bold cutouts that created a dominatrix-like bodice, and it also provided us a quick glance of her Alicia 199x300 Grammys Fashion Trends Cutout Dresses & Long Locksback and abs! After glimpsing her abs, we decided that only is she in shape, but of course she looked absolutely gorgeous as well. Paired with her slicked-back tresses and bold red lipstick, Alicia was certainly a “Girl On Fire” !

Beyond the cutout dress trend, we couldn’t help but notice that many songstresses decided to wear their long tresses down, which we felt was a beautiful choice. Why wear your hair up just because you’re in a fancy dress? The ladies of the night proved that glittery and formal frocks most definitely can go with elegant flowing locks. We definitely approve!

Miranda Lambert arrived in a Roberto Cavalli red carpet gown while wearing her hair down. One side of her hair was clipped back while the rest flowed gently down her back. The side that was clipped back showed off her large sparkly earrings; great choice! The curls were sensational and she positively glowed in her black dress – we definitely approved of Miranda’s Grammys ensemble!

Rihanna’s long ombre locks looked fantastic paired next to her red hot dress. Grammys Fashion Trends Cutout Dresses & Long LocksWe’re not sure if it was Chris Brown who made her look so happy or the fact that she was there at the Grammys looking more beautiful than ever! Whatever the case may be, her long ombre hair looked gorgeous. To get Rihanna’s long tresses and her look, try our Wavy Colored Indian Hair Extensions. You’ll achieve Ri Ri’s beautiful curls in an instant and plus you can also can dye your hair ombre. Just be sure to go to a trained hair stylist who can help you get the look!

Many others wore their hair long, such as Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift during her fun Alice in Wonderland themed performance. They all looked gorgeous and we’re glad they weren’t afraid to wear their hair down.

So which was your favorite trend or fashionable moment of the evening? Do you like updos or long tresses? We loved it all! icon wink Grammys Fashion Trends Cutout Dresses & Long Locks
